Other Information: This quilt uses some of my grandmother's old cigarette silks and my mother's lace and buttons. The embroidered flowers are the birth-month flowers for my children and husband.

Other Information: This quilt was made by my husband's mother the summer before his senior year of high school. The following fall she died of cancer and left the quilt without any backing. Recently his sister-in-law finished the quilt and gave it to him for Christmas. She had made all her sons one before she passed but ran out of time to finish Aaron's quilt.
